MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to everybody!

I know I seem to be rather spartan on my blog posts, so I shall endeavor to do one on here at least two or more times per week.

It's hard to work full time, keep some semblance of order, and deal with the stresses of life, and I have no excuses for not writing like I should. Lord knows I should write more. I like writing. Actually I love writing when I get my full on muse, and her hot red headed cousin EefBe leaves me alone, I get into this area of my mind's eye and I zone out. Some of the stuff isn't really worth reading, well I'm the writer so i think all my stuff is crap. No matter what others say about it I feel it will never be good enough to print or put out there. Thus why this blog exists.

Several months back I started a story on a whim and a prod from Richard Evans on facebook. I put it out here and immediately felt regret. Not that it wasnt a fun story, but that I feared people rejecting it outright. Yes, I have a few people I know from facebook, a few authors I will never ever in a million years be even close to their left pinkie toe's talent level, and some homage to striking it rich after some hard won work after years of dedication so the characters would never have to work again in their lives.

As unrealiatic as it was, raw as it is, and a review by another author/editor/friend of several years, as well as my own son and several other people, I have decided to stop procrastinating and work it. Thats right. I'm taking "Bird In Hand', that title may change, and put it out for people to read on Amazon or several other places via Createspace. I have a lot of work to do and I am a bit unsure how long the actual WiP will be. I'm aiming for a rough 60K total, in two works to be released two or 3 months apart. I will be working on these in the evenings and weekends mostly when I have the time. So I ask for your patience.

Am I scared, nervous, freaking out? Absofreakingparanoidlutely!

I plan on asking permission from the people I based some characters on as well as a list of redshirts to die in absolute carnage. But I hope to rebel against normal redshirting and take it up a few notches. You'll all go, "WTF??? Seriously screwed up, man! That is sick!".

Well, back to work at my muse's salt mines. Will keep people informed and I will use my online gameplaying as a reward for writing, like Larry Correia does. Honest, Toni! That's all he uses it for! Just motivational murder tanking! *BIG EVIL GRIN*
